The Carter Family Fold is a music venue, primarily focused on mountain and folk music, in memory of the Carter family who is best known for their contributions in the said genres. It is located in A.P. Carter?s old store location in Hiltons, Virginia and has a 1000 seat capacity that is open to visitors every Saturday.

The Carter Family Fold is a family-friendly place. Despite being a music venue, alcohol is strictly prohibited. Also, there?s a rule that performers are only to do acoustic sets, to better preserve the whole folk and mountain music effect going on.

Aside from the music shed, there?s also a museum related to the Carter Family Fold history on site. Folks can visit it before the show.
