The Friendship Firehouse Museum is situated in Alexandria which is within a building unit built way back in 1885. It has various levels of featured displays that have highly interesting items like fire equipment used in the ancient days, water buckets that were made in leather and hoses. This museum was based on the Friendship Firehouse Company that served as the first ever volunteer fire company in the city.

It serves as host too to a lot of events like the Friendship Firehouse Festival and the Father?s Day Open House. The first event mentioned is organized annually by an association of veteran fire fighters with all their families gathered round for warm socialization. This goes the same for the father?s day event that gives free tours around the area.
