St. John?s Episcopal Church is the site where the Second Virginia Convention was held. Among the American founding fathers that gathered inside were George Washington, Thomas Jefferson and Patrick Henry, the leader who uttered the immortal quote.

The church was named a National Historical Landmark in 1961. History buffs can visit the church for the reenactment of the Second Virginia Convention. Souvenir shops and tours are also featured in the church grounds.
