Woodrow Wilson and World War I are always linked together, but if you want to bypass the tragic details of the war and see the more positive aspects of the president?s legacy, then you should visit the Woodrow Wilson Presidential Library and Museum.

The Wilson Presidential Library was established in the 1846 Woodrow Wilson Home and for that, it?s also known as the Woodrow Wilson Birthplace. As a birthplace museum, it features various authentic household belongings and period furnishings belonging to the Wilson Family. Outdoors, there?s also a boxwood garden built in 1933 and which was restored by the Garden Club of Virginia.

Today, the area is also registered as a National Historic Landmark and the library frequently welcomes some of the country?s most sought-after speakers, including the likes of Robert Samuelson and Cokie Roberts. As expected, the library also boasts a comprehensive collection of artefacts and documents related to President Wilson.
