The Cat Tales Zoological Park is a rescue park dedicated for big cats. It is a USDA Licensed Class C exhibitor that is home to a total of 42 big cats and growing. This zoological park was founded by Mike and Debbie Wyche in 1991. It was founded as a non-profit charity and later on incorporated on July 27, 1991. Aside from the animals and attractions to see inside the zoo, it is also a school for those who are interested to know about zoo keeping. The Cat Tales Zoological Training Center is a Washington state licensed trade school. Cat Tales, moreover is the only zoo in Spokane, Washington.

Inside the park there are 42 big cats including tigers, pumas, serval, bobcats, leopards, lions, and lynxes. The park welcomes thousands of visitors yearly and also is increasing in attendance. The zoo averages to more than 14,000 pounds of food for the animals every month. Cat Tales Zoological Park works with state wildlife agencies to help in the rescue of animals of all types.
