The Columbia River Exhibition of History, Science, and Technology (CREHST) is a museum and science center that aims to share the story of the Columbia Basin as well as its surrounding region.

The Museum offers a variety of 2 and 3-dimensional exhibits and displays. People who visit the Museum get to be entertained with its interactive and hands-on displays and activities that take them to a captivating journey that enables them to immerse themselves in the story of the Columbia Basin region. This experience takes them back to the years of the past starting from the prehistoric time up to the nuclear age. Tours of the Museum lets visitors discover and be educated on Columbia River?s unique history and geology through a walking tour of Richland. The Museum details and illustrates unknown things about nuclear technology as well as molecular science. It also promotes exploration of hydroelectric power and appreciation for the history of Hanford Reach. Displays and exhibits are complemented with videos and showcase of artworks that are related to the heritage of the mid-Columbia.

Science Lab, one of the permanent exhibits, offers displays about cutting-edge science including intelligent touch screen computers and its interactive labs. Visitors will get to launch an object in the catapult, power a motor using bare hands, use the abacus to solve mathematical problems, and many more.
