At first glance, you will definitely not mistake the Giant Shoe Museum as another Seattle art museum. In fact with a striking entrance, patterned after those circus side shows, you would easily dismiss the place as being one altogether.
But the Giant Shoe Museum is indeed a museum. And as the name implies it actually holds a large collection of shoes, and giant ones at that. Danny Eskenazi, owner of the museum and its collection, said that he came across the idea when he learned that his grandfather once owned a shoe worn by Robert Wadlow, who became known as the world?s tallest man during that time.
Visitors will definitely have a great time marveling at these huge footwear, while wondering if they were ever worn by real people.
