Manito Park is a 90-acre park located in Spokane, Washington, and famous among family, friends and local tourists. The park is situated near local tourist destinations and establishments, and boasts its many gardens as well as children?s playgrounds.

People take interest in the park because of its cleanliness and orderliness. It currently has five major gardens housing a myriad of plant and flower species. These gardens are Duncan Garden, Perennial Garden, Rose Hill, Nishinomiya Japanese Garden, and Lilac Garden. Each of these gardens offers great scenic view for couples as well as photographers to enjoy.

The two playgrounds ? the Upper Manito Playground and Lower Manito Playground - are also considered to be the best places to hang out with for families with small children. Picnic tables and benches are lined up for parents who are preparing for their picnic while the kids mingle and play with other children.

Another attraction inside the Manito Park is the Gaiser conservatory Green House, which is named after Dr. David Gaiser. The conservatory is open to public for free; however, the schedule varies seasonally. Here in the greenhouse, you can find a wide collection of plants, grown manually and cared for by the park?s caretakers. According to the locals, it?s highly recommended to visit the conservatory during the winter season to get the better view of plants.

Other features to enjoy in Manito Park are the Duck Pond, the Park Bench Caf?, the Picnic Shelter and the Park Bench Caf?. For those who want to go biking or hiking inside the park, the Loop Drive is the best route. There, you?ll pass a historical stone that connects the lower and upper areas of the drive. The Old Bungalow Homes on the other hand, is a residential place where you?ll find several Manito estates within Manito Park.
