The Palouse Discovery Science Center is a recreational center that focuses more on entertaining and educating kids and adults with hands-on scientific experiments and activities, exhibits, and various other educational programs.

In its Saturday Adventure 3D program, visitors can avail of the 3D activity kit and use ChromaDepth glasses to view their own 3D ChromaDepth artworks. Since 2009, the center has also been able to offer visitors nature walks every week.

Recent purchases have also made several handheld digital microscopes as well as a portable ramp available for visitors? use.

Other activities that the center offers include astronomy programs and family science activities in the weekend.

The Palouse Discovery Science Center is partly funded by the Combined Fund Drive of the Washington State University (WSU), a donation system that allows people to donate to more than 2,000 non-profit organizations.
