Located in Barboursville in Cabell County, West Virginia, the Beech Fork State Park is one of the state?s most beautiful and popular state parks. Its pristine waters, breathtaking autumn forests and lush countryside make it the top destination for tourists, outdoor lovers, adventurers, and urban escapists. Established on January 1, 1978, the park is located on the shores of the Beech Fork Lake, a man-made flood control system built by the US Army Corps of Engineers.

The park offers a wide array of recreational activities inside its vast 3,860-acre land. Four big campgrounds with 275 total campsites will welcome anyone who plans to spend the night in the embrace of mother nature. Other activities include hiking, photography, biking, boating, and kayaking.
