The Grave Creek Mound Historic Site may just look like several simple mounds of soil, but the ones that lies beneath it are what is considered as valuable. Numerous burials of the indigenous people of Adena during the 150-250 BC are what are locked in the history of the area. The site also has the Delf Norona museum where the artifacts are housed to explain what happened in its entire history.

The core of the site is considered the most popular and biggest in the burial mounds of Adena. The Grave Creek?s Archaeological Complex also houses a theater that is composed of 136 seats and has a tiny stage for various events and special shows. The museum on the other hand is always open for visitors the whole year round.
