The Hawks Nest State Park is one great spot for those who consider themselves as water enthusiasts. Right at the park is where you can also find a lodging area plus a cable car that makes visitors ride the ferries to the highest points so that you can see numerous exciting views in panorama.

The state park is made up of about 276 acres that border a part of the New River Gorge National River. The lodges offer a total of 31 rooms that are perfect to stay in for those who plan to stay overnight.
