Looking for a one-of-a-kind nature adventure? Go 120 feet under and discover some hidden wonders and unique formations of stalactites and stalagmites inside the Lost World Caverns in Lewisburg, West Virginia. Discovered in 1942, it was transformed into an educational and exciting tourist attraction and was also declared as a National Natural Landmark in 1973.

Children and adults will enjoy a 45-minute self-guided tour of the cave to see one of the country?s largest stalactite formation called ?The Snowy Chandelier? and many others. A dinosaur museum can also be found within the compound. For the more adventurous group, a ?Wild Cave Tour? is a must-try wherein tourists can get down and dirty in a 4-hour guided tour of the innermost and darkest parts of the cave.
