Near Cathedral Falls and Hawks Nest State Park stands a shack that is also the home of the Mystery Hole. Its claim to fame is the weird workings of gravity in the area.

Today?s Mystery Hole is just a restoration of the original one that ran from 1972 to 1996. The owners, Will and Sandra Morrison, made a daring move in restoring the place that has since fell to the mercy of vandals.

The thing about Mystery Hole is that most of its mystery is propagated to the site?s secrecy rules. Cameras are not allowed inside, and reviewers can?t say much to what can be expected.

On the shack?s entrance is the gift shop where visitors buy souvenirs. From there starts the descent to the series of underground rooms where the various wonders can be found and enjoyed.
