The White Sulphur Springs National Fish Hatchery can be found right along the Midland Trail in the Allegheny Highlands in West Virginia. It started in 1900 to be able to supply fish for the Americans and even became a part of the National Broodstock Program way back in 1976. By 1995, they even added a brand new program to its entirety which is to conserve freshwater mussels.

Their mission is to work hand in hand with the community in taking care of the environment and conserve its natural resources. The place also provides recreational fishing activities along with events that help promote awareness and level up the appreciation of others for the preservation and conservation of resources for the own benefit of people.
