The Children?s Museum of Fond du Lac understands the importance of feeding a child?s curiosity. Thus this museum offers a great experience for children and their caregivers towards their discovery and learning. With the vision of creating a hands-on learning experience to kids, by providing interactive experience as well as educational programs.

The museum opened on December 17, 2007 with the support from the community as well as individuals who believed in the dream and passion of the museum. The museum is located inside the renovated Windhover Center of the Arts with a yearly audience of almost 20,000. For a time the Children?s Museum of Fond du Lac, is featured as a ?museum without walls?. They travel from one location to another sharing their exhibits to children and adults alike.

There are several exhibits being offered by the museum which are all interactive and catering to children age birth through eleven. A good example is the Great Wall Construction exhibit, using a setting backdrop of China, offers children a chance in building a Bamboo Ball Wall.
