The only historic property in Green Bay, the Hazelwood Historic House Museum boasts of ten beautifully restored rooms that showcase the best of Victorian design and other elements of mid-19th century architecture. In 1964, the property made it to the National Register of Historic Places. Currently under the management of the Brown County Historical Society, the Hazelwood Historic House Mansion went through a substantial five-year restoration period before it opened its doors to the public in 1995.

Possessing magnificent views of the Fox River, the mansion was first built as home for Morgan Martin and his family. The Martins were then considered one of the most politically powerful and socially influential families in the city and remained so for more than a century. The mansion is one of the best ways to learn more about the impressive history of the Martins as it?s filled with family mementos.
