The Timbavati Wildlife Park inside the Storybook Gardens lets its visitors experience an up close encounter with its variety of animals. There are several things to discover and enjoy in this zoo including exotic camel rides, giraffe and baby zebra feeding, and sitting right next to a 60 pound tortoise. Moreover, children and adults will adore the many animals in the zoo including a white lion, lemurs, kookaburra, kangaroos, alpaca, yellow headed vultures, zebra, giraffe, African crown cranes and many others.

Since it is within the Storybook Gardens visitors can also enjoy strolling around the beautiful garden estate. The Timbavati Wildlife Park also houses a number of beautiful birds, something that bird lovers and bird watchers will truly enjoy. Additionally there are also a number of excellent interactive shows, which are design to be entertaining and educational. The shows take place inside the park at 11:15 am, 1:15 pm, and 3:15 pm, visitors who would like to participate in the show are encouraged to call first to confirm the time of the show.
