One of the most popular Wisconsin historical sites would be the Heritage Hill State Historic Park. The ?living history? museum is located at over fifty acres of land cradled against the scenic Fox River, which in itself is considered one of the most beautiful places in Wisconsin as well.

Heritage Hill Wisconsin can be divided into four different attractions. Their Fur Trade section?s a tribute to the times when the local area had served as one of the premier trade settlement areas in the 18th century. Among the many sites of interest here include the Bark Chapel, the 19th century Fur Trader?s Cabin, the Maple Sugaring House (where visitors can observe how maple syrup is produced), and the Court House.

At Fort Howard, visitors could glimpse the days when living within the protected confines of military communities had been the only way to survive.

Other places of interest at the park include the Cheese Factory, the Cotton House, the Belgian Farm, and various historical buildings that had been prominent during the 1850s till the dawn of the 20th century.
