The Alta Branch Library first opened its doors in December of 2009 in its brand new location where it can be found in a building that measures 2,500 square foot. Now, that it has a bigger home, you can find more expanded collection along with computer stations that all have internet connection. There are computers meant separately for the kids and the adults. If you will visit the library just to read, then you can head straight to its reading area that will also present to you an amazing view of the Teton county.

It also has a meeting room for the public that can accommodate up to 28 individuals along with an area for kid?s play. It is situated just right across the Alta Elementary School and the Tetons Episcopal Church. They have events held for their book club members along with summer reading classes for the younger generations. The library is also friendly to the Spanish speaking visitors.
