The Don King Museum exhibits hundreds of saddles from the ordinary to the most unique ones Don King designed himself. The museum is housed in the King?s Saddlery, a store which sells horse tacks and equine supplies. The store itself is very famous in the Sheridan area because of its quality equine supplies. Besides the collections shown in the museum, the store also customizes saddles with regard to the customer?s preference.

Don King developed a Sheridan-style saddle that museum became famous about. The museum features hundreds of unique saddles and memorabilia of the Wild West. Some of the artifacts are owned by Don King himself.

Don King opened his own saddle business in 1961 after he learned from a master leather craftsman. The museum houses Sheridan Rose patterns that Don King designed. There are different kinds of saddles in the museum. There are Texas saddles, American Indian saddles and saddles from many other states. The museum is perfect for people who would like to know more about the transportation in Wild West and for people who love horses.
