The Grand Teton National Park may not be as popular and as visited as its counterpart, Yellowstone National Park. But, this park located just about 275 miles Northeast of Salt Lake City in Utah, is also as breathtakingly beautiful as Yellowstone. The park was named after the highest peak in its mountainous range but others say that it was named after the female breasts by a French animal trapper in the 19th century. The Grand Teton peak is 13,770 feet high (above sea level). Its massive height is awesome to behold.

It is a popular destination during winter but tourists also come to the Tetons for the summer vacations. Visitors will never run out of things to do in the park. Aside from the numerous outdoor activities the park has to offer, it is very accessible as well because of the nearby Jackson Hole airport.
