Located in the Saratoga?s original 1915 Union Pacific Railroad Depot, the Saratoga Museum provides everyone with an opportunity to explore Platte Valley since it was open is 1980. The museum also offers the public one of Wyoming?s biggest and grandest gem and mineral exhibits including their newest display of Wyoming jade consisting of several specimens.

The Saratoga Museum also has a gift shop where visitors can choose from their wide collection of books that consists of travel guides, landscapes, pictorials, Western novels and books about the Union Pacific Railroad. The museum also offers books from their local authors like Rod Laird, Lori Van Pelt, Candy Moulton and Richard Perue.

The gift in Saratoga Museum not only has items that only adults can have. Their shop also offers children items that most children would love to have like horseshoes, Christmas ornaments, antique kitchen utensils, railroad spikes and a lot more.

There is a part in the museum where you can have a quiet time for research, and that will be there research library where you will be getting a warm and inviting atmosphere.
