The Anniversary of Battle of Horseshoe Bend is the celebration for the founding of the Horseshoe Bend National Military Park that measures about 2040 acres. It was built to preserve the actual site of the battle done in Horseshoe Bend. It was when General Andrew Jackson led an army of men that is about 3,300 who attacked about 1,000 warriors of the Upper Creek. All these happened about 200 years ago.

This yearly event recreates the life way back in the year of 1814. It is where you can find lot of demonstrations and other interpretative programs which depict the life of the Cherokee Indians. It also features their most traditional skills such as flint knapping, weaving and a lot more.
