The Birmingham Botanical Gardens is a series of gardens and a living museum in Birmingham, Alabama. It is dubbed as the state?s largest venue of such kind with its more than 10,000 different plants under its care.
Home to about 3,000 various kinds of plants, 30+ sculptures and outdoor art works, and 20 gardens, the Birmingham Botanical Gardens is a big hit among the crowds. Yearly, it welcomes more than 300,000 visitors, making it the city?s number one free-admittance attraction.
Aside from the gardens, the Birmingham Botanical Gardens also features an auditorium, library, information center, and a restaurant. It is also home to the Linn-Henley Lecture Hall, the Blount Education Center, Arrington Children?s Plant Adventure Zone, and the Gerlach Plant Information Center inside its 67.5 acre site.
