The Earlyworks Children?s History Museum is a historical museum located in Huntsville, Alabama. It is a part of the Earlyworks Museum Complex and is best known for being the ?South?s largest hands-on history museum?.
Proving true to its name, the Earlyworks Children?s History Museum is a child friendly and family oriented venue. Unlike other museums, kids can roam around, touch things and even climb, pull, and play with stuff. Its main focus is to let the youngsters about the history of the United States, with a major emphasis on past local events. Kids can also play with the musical instruments in the Alabama Bandstand section or dress up and try to run a General Store. There?s also a section that?s perfect for preschoolers.
The Earlyworks Children?s History Museum is open every Tuesdays to Saturdays from 9 am to 4 pm.
