The Museum of East Alabama is a historic museum located in downtown Opelika, Alabama. It was opened in 1989 as a regional museum, capturing and chronicling the colorful past of the area.

The Museum of East Alabama boasts of more than 5000 artifacts that are related to the architectural, rural, and business heritage of the counties that belong to the region. Most items were collected as donations and gifts of locals as well as those who have roots or certain connections to the area, like the space shuttle memorabilia that the NASA astronaut Jim Voss, who is also an Opelika native, gave to the museum.

The Museum of East Alabama is composed of various exhibits focusing on different fields and topics related to the area. It is open every Thursdays through Saturdays until 4 pm.
