Described as a site that ?represents a major part of Alaska?s history?, the Knik Museum is always a great source of local facts and information. It is a very interesting site to see, especially since it has a lot of stories to tell.

Housed in one of the two surviving buildings from the original town site of Knik, the Knik Museum already offers a good deal of history from its building alone. Add to this the fact that the site used to be a pool hall and roadhouse, and you can really get a lot of history from it. The displays are also very interesting with its collection of artifacts and items such as dishes, furniture, and clothing pieces that dates back to the early days of the area.
