The Pioneer Museum renders a good view of the gold rush era. The place is filled with numerous displays of the daily life back at that time when workers were busy finding gold. The basic modes of transportation are also featured inside like snowshoes, stagecoaches, dog sleds and a lot more. It also has several household items and other goods that were used as appliances and tools during those times in the past.

The museum is also where you can get to watch the Big Stampede Show which is a narration that runs for 45 minutes. It tells all the information behind the story of the gold rush along with featured paintings that were made by the great artist in Alaska by the name of Rusty Heurlin.
