The Sheldon Jackson College is a historic private collage in the Baranof Island of Sitka, Alaska. It was founded in 1878, and is the oldest higher education institution in the state.

Originally designed to serve as a training school for Alaska Native boys, the Sheldon Jackson College was initially named the Sitka Industrial and Training School. This institution closed down immediately in 1882, when its facilities burned down. The current structure was completed in 1896, with the help of the Presbyterian missionary Reverend Sheldon Jackson. Due to his great involvement in the revival of the school, it was named after him when he died in 1910.

The Sheldon Jackson College became a boarding high school in 1917, and then a college in 1944. It was added on the National Historic Registry and became a National Historic Landmark consequently.
