Its name may sound off-putting, but the Devil?s Den State Park is truly a heavenly place for people who love the wild outdoors and natural beauty of the state of Arkansas.

Located near West Fork in Washington County, the Devil?s Den State Park is a premiere recreational site for nature lovers inside and around Arkansas. Established in 1933, the park is located in the lush Lee Creek Valley below the Boston Mountains, the southwestern part of The Ozarks. This 2,500-acre park features sprawling grass-covered plains, rich forests, and an 8-acre CCC-built lake.

The park is open the whole year for visitors. Among the favorite recreational activities are hiking, mountain biking, and horseback riding along the park?s scenic trails. The park also has several camp and picnic grounds, log cabins, and a swimming pool. Visitors can also do boating and fishing in the man-made Devil?s Den Lake.
