The Mount Nebo State Park is a state park and recreation area in Dardanelle, Arkansas. It is best noted for being the second oldest state park in Arkansas.
Featuring and named after Mount Nebo, the Mount Nebo State Park has always been a tourist destination since the 1800s. In 1889, it was home to the Summit Park Hotel and was a popular destination for the rich from all over the country. Mount Nebo has continuously charmed thousands of people with its sweeping views of the Arkansas River Valley, up until today.
Another noted thing about the Mount Nebo State Park is that it is one of the only two units in the Arkansas state parks system to offer launch sites for hang gliding.
