The Withrow Springs State Park is a state park and recreation area in Huntsville, Arkansas. It is located in the Ozark Mountains, giving it an excellent natural setting.
Named after Richard Withrow, an early settler who also established one of the first mills in the area, the Withrow Springs State Park opened in 1965 as a state unit. It has been, however, a watering place for locals and travelers since the early 1800s. It has a swimming pool, three baseball fields, nature trails, bathhouse, tennis courts, pavilions, picnic sites, visitor center, and gift shop among many other things. The site is also famous for canoeing, kayaking, and fishing.
The swimming pool at the Withrow Springs State Park is open during the summer months only. Other parts are available to the public all year round.
