The Cheyenne Mountain State Park is a state park and recreation area in Colorado Springs, Colorado. It was acquired in year 2000 through the joint efforts of the city of Colorado Springs, the Colorado State Parks system, Colorado Lottery, Great Outdoors Colorado, and the El Paso County alongside several other local organizations.

Fully established in 2006, the Cheyenne Mountain State Park was created in efforts of protecting one of the last significant open spaces in the southern portion of the Colorado Front Range. The site used to be known as the JL Ranch and is the only state park in the entire El Paso County.

Among the top things that can be enjoyed at the park include hiking, picnicking, and wildlife viewing. Dogs and horses are not allowed on the trails so as not to disturb the ecosystems present at the site.
