The New Britain Industrial Museum was established to give appreciation to the history and inspiration to the future. Its collection includes about a thousand artifacts that represent creativity and effort of the people through generations. It features changing exhibits of products from major industries that provide a glimpse into the future. In these exhibits, over 50 companies are represented and the different products that are showcased are made in New Britain.

The Museum highlights the facts that New Britain was once the record holder for most patents issued. It gives knowledge on the development of concepts from invention to production. Through the museum, New Britain, which is also known as the ?Hardware City? in the mid-19th century, connects the visitors to the achievements of the region?s people, which could even turn out to be their ancestors.
