Florida is considered by many as the theme park capital of the world, having a wide selection of theme parks and water parks scattered all over the state. As such, any Florida theme or water park would be hard-pressed to make itself distinct from its competitors but in this case, the Aquatica Water Park does itself proud. Naturally, it helps that the park is owned and operated by the even more famous Sea World.
One of the newest rides at the Aquatica Water Park is the two-person Omacka Rocka raft ride, which gives passengers a journey into semi-transparent tubes and mini-funnels in coaster-like speed. The fifty-nine-acre park, which is designed with an enchanting South Sea Islands theme, also has the Dolphin Plunge. Considered the park?s main attraction, it offers body slides that have swimmers plunging into a pool of black & white Commerson?s dolphins.
For those interested, multi-park tickets may be purchased at discounted prices online. Multi-park tickets are good for Sea World, Aquatica, the Discovery Cove dolphin experience park, and the Busch Gardens. Visitors may also purchase their tickets as part of a package that includes accommodation at the Renaissance Orlando Resort.
