The Dunns Creek State Park is a state park in Pomona Park, Florida. It was created in order to protect a number of natural habitats that are concentrated in the area.
Home to 23 natural communities, the Dunns Creek State Park is actually a very rich location. Being the newest addition to the state park system, there are still a number of areas to be explored here, including the ?Blue Pond?, which is mostly a sinkhole that is full of water.
Although named after the Dunns Creek, the Dunns Creek State Park has no access to the waterway at all. It is just located near it. Despite the misnomer, there are still tons of things that can be enjoyed in the site, including horseback riding, hiking, biking, and wildlife viewing.
