The Eden Gardens State Park is a state park and a historic site in Santa Rosa Beach, Florida. It features a great combination of local Florida history and nature in one single location.
One of the main highlights of the Eden Gardens State Park is the historic Wesley House. The structure was built in 1897 for the wealthy Wesley family, best known for their timber business. The whole site was once owned by the Wesleys and was later acquired in 1963 by Lois Maxon. Maxon renovated the property and outfitted it with her family heirlooms and antiques. It now features her collecton of Louis XBII furniture, which is the second largest in the country.
Tons of activities can be enjoyed while at the Eden Gardens State Park. You can tour the historic home, go picnicking, boating, or stroll through the sites several gardens and nature trails.
