Epcot is a Walt Disney theme park in Lake Buena Vista, Florida. It is a part of the massive Walt Disney World Resort and is focused and dedicated to the international culture and technological innovation.

Opened in 1982, the name of Epcot actually stands for ?Experimental Prototype Community of Tomorrow?. The name explains what the site is all about, which is a utopian futuristic city that is planned and designed by Walt Disney, himself. Sadly, Disney died before the site was even started.

Epcot is notable for once being the largest construction project in the planet. It took 3 years and about $800 million to $1.4 billion to complete the site. It covers 300 acres worth of land with a 141-acre parking lot.
