If you pass by Key West, Florida, you might want to complete your South Beach experience by taking a tour of the house of Ernest Hemingway, one of America?s greatest writers and recipient of the Nobel Prize for Literature in 1954.
Officially known as Ernest Hemingway Home & Museum, this humble Spanish colonial style house was the residence of Ernest Hemingway. He wrote his novels ?A Farewell to Arms? and ?For Whom the Bell Tolls? in this house.
Take a leisurely stroll inside his house and see his various memorabilia, including his ?last penny? embedded on the floor of an outside swimming pool. You might also want to mingle with the ?Hemingway cats?, the descendants of the original feline company of the great late author.
