The John U. Lloyd Beach State Park is an excellent seashore recreational area in Dania Beach, Florida.

Providing a recreational area for family friendly activities, the John U. Lloyd Beach State Park features amenities that are usually used during summer outings and simple days at the beach. Swimming, sunbathing, beach sports, and snorkeling are popular activities in the beach area. Divers will find an excellent off shore dive site which is considered by some as one of the most interesting shore dives in the area. There is also a boat launch that has easy access to the open ocean through the Port Everglades inlet which is usually used by anglers who wish to fish in open water.
