The Little Talbot Island State Park is a Florida State Park located on one of the few remaining undeveloped barrier islands in the state.
Because of the lack of private development on the island the natural terrain and vegetation of the island remains unspoiled. These include maritime forests, sand dunes, and salt marshes. These natural formations are great for wildlife viewing and environmental studies. Hiking trails lead watchers toward these areas and are great for exploration and photography.
Other activities that are popular in the park include fishing which featuring a variety of catches including bluefish, striped bass, redfish, flounder, mullet, and sheepshead. Beach activities, cycling, canoeing, kayaking, fishing, hiking, surfing, picnicking, and nature tours are some of the more popular activities in the park.
