The Mulberry Phosphate Museum is a local museum in Mulberry, Florida. It celebrates Central Florida?s heritage as the ?Phosphate Capital of the World?.
It is believed that Central Florida contains a massive amount of phosphate. The creation of such phenomenon also adds charm to the area, as there are tons of fossils that were found upon archaeological research in the locale. This has led to the formation of the Mulberry Phosphate Museum that features different displays and items that chronicle the area?s development.
On display at the Mulberry Phosphate Museum are exhibits about fossils from prehistoric Florida to the local phosphate industry, as well as other local memorabilia. It is open on Tuesdays through Saturdays from 10 am to 4:30 pm. Admission is free.
