The Norris Gardens is a historic garden in Naples, Florida. It features five themed sections, adding charm to its beautifully landscaped general area.
The Norris Gardens traces its roots back to the early 1900s, when it was first created in the former property of Ed Crayton, the man known to be the designer of the city. The development of the garden was funded, however, by the Norris family. It was designed to depict the development of the plants that were introduced to the city?s landscape through time.
Today, the Norris Gardens boasts of five themed areas including the Palm Collector?s Garden, Garden of Senses, Pioneer Garden, the Shade Garden, and the Edible Garden. It is located adjacent to the Palm Cottage and tours are regularly available.
