The Oleta River State Park is Florida?s largest urban park. It features miles of bicycle trails that are known for their range of difficulty from novice trails to challenging advanced trails.
There are 10 miles of challenging intermediate mountain bike trails in the park. Beginners, though, need not fret because the park also has 4 miles of novice trails and 3 miles of paved trails. The paved areas are also great for roller blading. As a center interest in biking, the Oleta River State Park has initiated a bicycle helmet loan system for those who have forgotten their helmets.
There are also simple accommodations available in the park in the form of fourteen cabins. The cabins have air conditioning and most feature a double bed and a bunk bed.
