The Orange County Regional History Center is an educational center in Orlando, Florida. It is focused on chronicling the local history of the area.
Housed in the historic 1927 Orange County Courthouse, the Orange County Regional History Center tells of the tale of the area?s early beginnings. Sure, many may think that they know Orlando thoroughly, being one of the most famous and important tourist destinations in the planet, but not a lot knows what it is like around here before Disney came to town. The center presents several displays and exhibits telling of Central Florida?s colorful and even surprising past.
In addition to the Orange County Regional History Center is a small park situated just outside the building. This is where regular events and festivals are commonly held.
