The Plantation Historical Museum is a local history museum in Plantation, Florida. It features a wide range of historic displays that depict the development and history of the city.

The Plantation Historical Museum started out as a small museum in one of the City Hall?s back rooms. It grew in time and was moved into a building of its own in 1985. A fire museum annex was opened a couple of years later.

Today, the Plantation Historical Museum is located adjacent the Botanical Gardens Park, accenting the beautifully landscaped outdoor area with history. Aside from the stunning scenery, you?ll find a great number of excellent artifacts and historic items on display inside the museum.

Operated by the Plantation Historical Society, you can also expect a lot of other special events and celebrations at the Plantation Historical Museum from time to time.
