Anyone ever take one of these trips down by Talkeetna?

Looking into the 3.5hr or the 5hr trip. Any exitement to the trips or just another boring site seeing snoozer?

Mahays is a great company, with a long history in the area. They are always there if any one needs help on the river or is in need of assistance.

Judging by the video, their pilots know the river pretty well, and if they are willing to interrupt their normally scheduled program to help out people in need of assistance, all I can say is kudos to them and their operation

When is the best time to go and where is the best place to do it?

Someone who did this trip recommended it to me. I think it looks like fun and my teenage boys will love it. And the price seems good. There is even a discount coupon in the Northern Lights coupon book.
