Where do you like to go 4 wheeling in AZ?

Any and all 4 wheelers please join in. Please no debates on which vehicle is more capable etc. Simply name the place where you like to go four wheeling and possibly a city it is near in case someone wants to go check it out.

I live out in east Mesa and Butcher Jone's/Rolls OHV areas are near me. I like to go up there and wheel. Its near Saguaro Lake off of the Bush Hwy.

I also like to go out to Florence Junction area. LOTS of great wheeling out there.

So where is your favorite wheeling spot in AZ?

Madera Canyon. 20 miles south of Tucson. The city has even posted maps on the net of the Jeep trails.

My wife and I are taking my YJ out next weekend. We always have to go alone because no one ever is around/or has the money to go

I agree with the Florence Junction area. I also like Sedona for the mini-Moab feel.

there used to be great places to go wheeling at the 67th ave and jomax. now its nothing but housing. every year, i find myself driving farther and farther out to get to the desert.

as for actual trails, i rather enjoy the back door to crown king.

We find pretty much all the challenge and beauty of the desert near Parker and Bouse.
Our YJ is little modified but we have a great time there. Area near Quartzite is great for quads and Jeeps too.

Parker area is awesome. Is there a resource on the web that gives trail maps in AZ?
