weve also got the buffalo river. great family fun and ive heard its one of the last un-impeded river in the U.S. (no dams or water breaks). plenty of canoe floats and outfitters.

If in the Spring Time...hit up Oaklawn in Hot Springs for some horse racing
Mount Magazine (you can reserve a spot in the lodge and your lady will thank you..there's a good size waiting list so hope on it)

If you do come I highly suggest to stay off the interstate and head up/down Highway 7 it takes you through the National Forst all the way up to around Branson!
I lived in Arkansas for 10 years and I loved the state. As mentioned in the previous post all of the hot spots ,But the fishing and hunting is world class
All of the Above plus. I grew up in West Texas and never learned to appreciate what it 's like to have beautiful forest, rivers and lakes at your doorstep. The trout fishing alone is worth the trek to Arkansas. The White and Little Red Rivers offer fantastic trout fishing for Rainbows and Browns.
